Summary of Opportunity
 
Cohesion has an immediate need for a ServiceNow Platform Administrator for a six-month contract with our client in downtown Dayton.  This individual will provide subject matter expertise for technical guidance, training and direction with a team of development professionals.
 
 

Skills and Experience Required:
 
Automation scripting and/or integration of development/test tools with ServiceNow for change automation
Support, deploy, and integrate ServiceNow platform

 

  1. ServiceNow Administrator Certification
  2. ServiceNow Dev/Admin
  3. SOAP/REST Service experience
  4. ITIL or IT Service Management experience
 
Job Responsibilities:
  1. ServiceNow platform analysis, administration and lifecycle management including configuration and management of user profiles, automated reporting and workspace hierarchy
  2. Understand and  maintain ServiceNow module and license counts for compliance and financial forecast
  3. Create and maintain knowledge base and libraries
  4. Lead Help-desk ticket processing for PPM tool
  5. Resolve incident tickets per service level agreements (SLA) and company policy
  6. Analyze incidents and problems to identify and understand trends that can be reported back to the vendor
  7. Track ServiceNow defects and communicate to vendor for resolution
  8. Oversee the creation and maintenance of ServiceNow policies, procedures and training materials
  9. Train and coach users on the capabilities of ServiceNow
  10. Provide guidance on ServiceNow best practices
  11. Collaborate with cross functional teams regarding ServiceNow configuration
  12. Provide input to ServiceNow test plans
  13. Define and implement backup and disaster recovery plan for ServiceNow
  14. Performs installation and testing of ServiceNow updates and new releases
  15. Develop systems integrations and process automation
  16. Monitor health, usage, and overall compliance of ServiceNow and its applications
  17. Develop, maintain, and operate a delivery pipeline for new functionality across multiple development teams
